...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
MIDNIGHT MDT MONDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 8 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 65 mph creating near Blizzard conditions.
* WHERE...Northeast Bighorn Mountains.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to midnight MDT Monday Night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult on Highway 14. The
combination of heavy snow, poor visibility, and blowing snow may
make outdoor recreation activities dangerous at times. Expect high
elevation roads to become slick and snow covered by late tonight.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...If you are planning travel to the high
country for recreation during the watch period, please let someone
know your plans in case you become stranded.

MDT MONDAY EASTERN LEMHI COUNTY ABOVE 5000 FEET...
* WHAT...Snow expected Eastern Lemhi County above 5000 feet. Total
snow accumulations 2 to 6 inches for Lost Trail Pass and Gilmore
Summit and 8 to 12 inches in the higher terrain. Winds gusting as
high as 30 mph.
* WHERE...Highway 28 Leadore to Lone Pine, Highway 93 Lost Trail
Pass to Gibbonsville, and Bannock Pass.
* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon MDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be affected.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and
2 feet, with isolated amounts approaching 3 feet over the highest
peaks. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.
* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to midnight MDT Wednesday Night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Those in
the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and
gear and may want to consider alternate plans. Widespread blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility. The combination of
heavy, wet snow and strong winds could cause extensive damage to
trees and power lines.
