The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify
the public and seek comments on a proposal to resurface about 7.2
miles of Montana Highway 200 (MT-200) between Dixon and Ravalli in
Sanders and Lake counties. The project begins at the intersection of
West Street and MT-200 in Dixon at reference post 108.5 and extends
easterly for 7.2 miles, ending about 150 feet west of the junction of
MT-200 and Highway 93 in Ravalli at reference post 116.1.

work includes crack sealing, seal and cover (chip seal), upgraded
pavement markings, shoulder rumble strips and a bridge deck crack
seal. The purpose of the project is to enhance the safety of the
traveling public and take a cost-effective action to prolong and
preserve the existing pavement.

The project is tentatively scheduled
for construction in 2019, depending on completion of all project
development activities and availability of funding. No new
