Montana Department of
Transportation Proposes Resurfacing Project for Secondary Highway 210
CLINTON — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like
to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to resurface
about 6.7 miles of Secondary Highway 210 northwest of Clinton. The
project begins at reference post 3.5, located about 0.3 miles east of
the Timber Edge Drive intersection which leads to the Turah
interchange, and extends southeasterly for approximately 6.7 miles,
ending at the Clinton interchange at reference post 10.2.
work includes crack sealing, seal & cover (chip seal), fog seal and
upgraded pavement markings. The purpose of the project is to take a
cost-effective action to prolong and preserve the existing pavement.
The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2019,
depending on completion of all project development activities and
availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations
will be needed.
