Montana Department of
Transportation Proposes Resurfacing Project for Secondary Highway 382
PERMA — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to
notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to resurface about
4.6 miles of Secondary Highway 382 north of Perma in Sanders County.
The project begins about 0.7 miles north of the Michel Creek Road
intersection at reference post 5.9 and extends northerly for
approximately 4.6 miles, ending about 0.2 miles north of the Big
Gulch Road intersection at reference post 10.5.
includes crack sealing, seal & cover (chip seal), fog seal and
pavement markings. The purpose of the project is to take a
cost-effective action to prolong and preserve the existing pavement.
The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2019,
depending on completion of all project development activities and
availability of funding. No new right-of-way or utility relocations
will be needed.
