The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and partner, LHC, Inc., continued pavement preservation work this week on US Highway 93 (US 93) in Flathead County, extending approximately two miles north of the intersection with West Reserve Drive.
The paving portion and bridge work have been completed. This week, crews finished the bridge work. For the week of April 29, construction work will be on hold.

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and partner, LHC, Inc., continue pavement preservation work this week on US Highway 93 (US 93) in Flathead County, extending approximately two miles north of the intersection with West Reserve Drive.
The paving portion of the project has been completed. This week, crews have been diamond grinding and installing signage. Diamond grinding removes bumps and smooths out the asphalt, a technique used to prevent pavement deterioration. Bridge work is scheduled to begin next week.
Traffic control is in place. Motorists can expect reduced speeds, single lane closures, and delays of up to 10 minutes throughout construction. Cyclists and motorcyclists are encouraged to use extreme caution.

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and partner, LHC, Inc., continue pavement preservation work this week on US Highway 93 (US 93) in Flathead County.
Last week, crews began digging out the top layer of roadway and paving on a two mile stretch of US 93, which spans approximately two miles north of the intersection with West Reserve Drive. This week, paving will be completed. The next phase of the project is bridge work and signage installation.
Traffic control is in place. Motorists can expect reduced speeds, single lane closures, and delays of up to 10 minutes throughout construction. Cyclists and motorcyclists are encouraged to use extreme caution.

Beginning early April, the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is teaming up with LHC Inc. on a pavement preservation project right here in Kalispell. The Stillwater River – North resurfacing project on US Highway 93 (US 93) in Flathead County will span approximately two miles north of the intersection with West Reserve Drive.
Planned work includes a seal and cover (chip seal), fog sealing, new pavement markings, and upgraded signage. The purpose of this project is to enhance safety features, provide a smoother driving surface, and extend the service life of the roadway.
