Project Overview
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and engineering firm Sanbell are working to address safety issues identified through a crash trend at the curve between South 64th Street West and Laurel Airport Road in Yellowstone County.
The Curve at 64th & Laurel Airport Road Safety Improvements project will redesign the curve, remove a dip in the road at the curve, and improve the vertical road alignment. The purpose of this project is to enhance safety features by improving sight distances and making it easier for drivers to navigate the curve.
This project is currently in the early design phase. A construction timeline for the project has not yet been determined.
