The MDT Office of Civil Rights encourages and supports small business participation in transportation contracts through the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program and the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. While both programs have similar certification and eligibility requirements, the DBE Program focuses on participation of businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
