Project Overview and Update

The East Valley Center Road and Baxter Lane project pavement preservation activities are complete on two urban routes in Bozeman. The project included applying a seal and cover (chip seal) and updated pavement markings. The project on Baxter Lane began at the intersection with North 7th Avenue and extended northwest approximately 1 mile to the junction with North 19th Avenue. The project on East Valley Center Road began at the junction with North 19th Avenue and extended approximately 2 miles northwest to the intersection with Valley Spur Road. The purpose of the project was to extend the service life of the roadways, provide additional skid resistance, and take cost-effective action to preserve and maintain the existing roadways.

Chip seal activities, the final sweep, and epoxy striping are complete. MDT thanks the public for its patience during construction.
