  • To allow for paving operations, no parking is allowed during work hours (6 p.m. to 7 a.m.) on the east side of N. 19th Avenue from Main Street to Durston Road.

  • There will be NO parking on the west side of N. 19th Avenue in the southbound lanes from Durston Road to Main Street from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. during milling and paving operations.

  • East Valley Center will be closed starting at 6 p.m. June 18 for milling operations, and traffic will be detoured from eastbound East Valley Center onto N. 27th Avenue to Cattail Street.
  • The I-90 eastbound off-ramp and East Valley Center will be open by 7 a.m. June 19.
  • Other traffic impacts include lane closures from the bridge south to Cattail Street.

Construction is set to kick off April 14 at 7 p.m. and will include sidewalk and curb replacements from Cattail Street heading south. Widening re-construction will also begin from East Valley Center north to the Interstate 90 (1-90) eastbound on-ramp. Travelers can expect single-lane closures from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Friday. Riverside Contracting and their sub-contractors do not plan to work past Friday at 7 a.m.

Traffic Control

During nighttime hours, watch for flaggers, reduced speeds, single-lane traffic, and illuminated signage.
