The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and partner Knife River are continuing construction at the intersection of Rimrock Road with 62nd Street West in Billings.
This week, Knife River crews will finish work on sewer connections and begin irrigation and water-related work to prepare for installing storm sewer pipes.
The intersection of Rimrock Road with 62nd Street West is now closed. Suggested detours around the closure are marked, signed, and visible on the project map below. Residents of adjacent neighborhoods are encouraged to use 70th Street West, Grand Avenue, and 58th Street West to detour around the closure.

This week, Knife River will continue to clear the project area, and crews will finish installing subsurface drains and begin work on sewer connections.

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and partner Knife River have begun construction on a roundabout at the intersection of Rimrock Road and 62nd Street West in Billings.
This week, Knife River will continue to clear the project area, and their subcontractor, Cop Construction, will work on installing drainage features.
The intersection of Rimrock Road and 62nd Street West is now closed. Suggested detours around the closure are marked, signed, and visible on the project map below. Residents of adjacent neighborhoods are encouraged to use 70th Street West, Grand Avenue, and 58th Street West to detour around the closure.
The Molt Road Curve will remain open during roundabout construction. Once the roundabout is finished and opened to traffic, the Molt Road Curve will be closed for removal. While Molt Road is under construction, expect reduced speeds, crews and equipment in the project area, and flaggers and signal lights directing traffic.
