The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), in partnership with Stillwater Electric Inc. and Knife River, continues work at the intersection of U.S. Highway 93 (US 93) with Treeline Road. Crews have completed work on the US 93 and Wyoming Street portion of the project. These intersection improvement projects will enhance safety and accessibility along the US 93 corridor in Kalispell.
Construction activities and schedule for the week of November 3:
- Work: Signal pole installation and paving operations will be underway at the intersection of US 93 and Treeline Road.
- Hours: Nighttime construction will take place from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Closures: Approaches to Treeline Road will be closed nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. during active construction.
- Detours: Detours will be in place while Treeline Road is closed, and motorists are encouraged to follow posted signage to access affected businesses.
Throughout construction, sections of US 93 will be reduced to one lane in each direction with traffic control in place. Flaggers will assist and guide concrete trucks entering and exiting the construction area.
