MDT is active in many Transportation Pooled Funds (TPF) that are administered by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The purpose of the TPF program is to provide States, FHWA, and other organizations a mechanism to pool resources when significant or widespread interest is shown in solving transportation–related problems. Partners may pool funds and other resources to solve these problems through research, planning, and technology transfer activities.
Want to learn more about TPF? The TPF Webpage provides comprehensive list of all proposed, active, and completed pooled funds. Also provided is information on lead state and contribution requirements.
