Remediation & Assessment Section
The section serves the Department to assist and manage a wide range of contamination issues that affect the Department as well as evaluating traffic noise and air quality impacts. Work involves management of a variety of hazardous waste, solid waste, and water quality issues, and includes underground storage tank removals, subsurface investigations, remedial activities, asbestos inspections, and regulatory compliance assistance.
