Schedule
The project is currently in the design phase and will be delivered as a Design-Build project through MDT Alternative Contracting. MDT and HDR are currently working on the Phase 1 portion of the project, which includes approximately 50% design and right-of-way authorization occurring during 2025 and early 2026. The project will then be advertised, and MDT will select a Design-Build team to complete the design and construction of the project. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2027.
Stay Informed, Stay Involved
Stakeholder and public feedback are encouraged throughout all project phases to ensure MDT identifies a solution that best meets the traffic and safety needs of the community and those who travel the roadway.
