Project Overview

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will reconstruct a section of Secondary 232, near Havre. Improvements include wider shoulders, enhanced roadway geometrics and new pavement. Planned reconstruction will improve vehicle travel for all motorists and travelers in the region.

Preliminary design is underway with 60% design currently scheduled to be delivered in the fall of 2022. Final design is anticipated during the summer of 2023.

MDT will work closely with nearby property owners and stakeholders during project design. There will be several opportunities to engage with the project team, and MDT encourages you to get involved, share your input and learn more about this important project.
