Project Overview

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will reconstruct a section of Secondary 232 (S 232), commonly known as Wild Horse Trail, near Havre. Improvements include wider shoulders, straighter curves, flatter grades, and new pavement from 4th Avenue North to Road 445 North. Planned reconstruction will improve vehicle travel for all motorists and travelers in the region.

Project development is underway. Final design is anticipated to be complete this fall.

MDT will work closely with nearby property owners and stakeholders during project design. There will be several opportunities to engage with the project team, and MDT encourages you to get involved, share your input, and learn more about this important project.
