The Montana Department of Transportation hosted its first Research Symposium in Helena on May 20. Nearly 80 participants, made up of brilliant researchers and technically savvy MDT staff, came together to share creative ideas and approaches for how to improve the transportation infrastructure. The goals of the symposium were to create relationships, generate shared awareness of MDT’s investigation needs and Montana researchers’ talents, and inspire action on MDT’s innovation and research needs.
The morning highlighted transportation research projects and outcomes, and the afternoon was filled with collaborative brainstorming. Please click here to see the agenda and read the presented research abstracts and bios of our speakers.
